Personal Finance for Teens, featuring real-life maths.

Following on from the previous session, where there was not enough time to cover everything,

We’ll have a look at:

• Employment income and understanding payslips
• Banking
• Pensions & Savings
• Overdrafts/Loans/Credit Cards/Mortgages
• Budgeting
• Consumer Protection & Insurance

Participants must be 13yrs+ and proficient in percentages, fractions and the use of a calculator.

Led by a home-educating Mum (with a maths and business background).

£6 per child to cover room hire – there is no charge for the actual activity, materials or the HE mum’s time.    Any excess will go to the Educationista Foundation charity (mainly towards insurance), as it is not likely to be significant.
