Christopher Lloyd, author of the “What on Earth…?” timeline books and lecturer and storyteller will be giving his “Big History” talk on 20 March 2017.

There will be three separate 75 minute talks.  After each talk, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and have books signed etc.. (Christopher will also bring some books to purchase on the day).  We also have a discount code to purchase the timeline collection for £35 (please see local facebook groups or email for the code)

Christopher’s talks are known for their energetic and interactive style.  He has a reputation for engaging children and adults of all ages and encouraging a holistic approach to learning.  To enable everyone to get the best out of them, the talks will be given in age-groups.

10.00am (age 4-8yrs)

12.00pm (age 8-12yrs)

2.00pm (age 12-17yrs)

The cost will be £7.75 per child (depending on final numbers, there will be a pro-rata refunds to those attend on the day)

One free adult per family may also attend.  You may also drop your child/ren off if there are no special needs or circumstances that would require 1:1 adult supervision.
(Additional adults spaces may be available nearer the time – when it is known how many families are going.  This is because there is an overall capacity for the room)

Please note that there is NO WAITING AREA for non-participating children.  We cannot have unsupervised children waiting in the corridor or outside the community centre.
