As the last couple of years have much quieter than usual, we thought we’d hold a Prom Party for home-ed teens (and those who were previously home-educated)
Age 13-18.
£25 per person (this is an upper estimate. If there is a surplus, there will be pro-rata refunds to those who attended)
Price includes: Hot fork buffet. Music supplied by a DJ (you’re able to put your music preferences in the booking form, so the DJ has idea of what you’d like to hear).
We’ll also take some informal photos that will be able to be downloaded (for free) after the event)
Please also indicate if there are special dietary requirements in the booking form.
Smart dress code.
(Teens don’t need to bring a “date”)
The Prom Party will be held in the Redwood Room at Collingtree Park Golf Club, overlooking the 18th fairway.
It’s near J15 of the M1 and an easy drive from Milton Keynes, Rugby, Leicester, Cambridge & Bedford (to name a few). So we’d really love to welcome teens and groups of teens from all areas. (We are already expecting teens from at least 3 counties, across the 13-17yr age range).
We’re aiming for a relaxed evening where teens can have fun and unwind after the end of the academic year and meet other home-ed teens. We also invite you to pop your music preferences in the booking form.
And for those who have come to the end of their home-ed journey, it’s a great chance to celebrate – to that end.
Do feel free to share this with your home-ed friends/groups, this is an open invitation!
The golf club have a clubhouse bar downstairs that parents will be able to wait in (you’ll need to buy a beverage of some sort) for the duration of the prom party. This includes an outdoor seating area. Because the Golf Club is a private members’ venue, they’ve asked for an indication of additional adults that are likely to remain onsite for the duration of the event.
Places are limited (due to the capacity of the venue).
If your teen is being brought (or being picked up) by another family, please say (there is a space in the form) indicate who your teen is attending with.
(Don’t worry if you do not know who will be bringing your teen at this point, though)
Adults don’t need to put their age or food preferences on the form!
